Take Action On Campus

If your campus is not doing its best to support pregnant students and student parents, here are some ways to help make a change:

Educate

Share Title IX student and professor FAQs and handouts
Present the “Title IX Basics” at a departmental, student government, or other meeting

Advocate

Review your institution’s policy for improvement
Don’t have a policy? Use our Model Policy as a guide and check out our recommendations for key aspects of an effective policy
Present a proposed policy to student government, departments, or campus committees on women or family

Report

See our guide to reporting Title IX violations.
Encourage those around you to speak up against harassment

Connect

Form a pregnant or parenting organization or listserv, to share resources and advice
Share your story here.
